Great sounding Aud of a Stellar Show. The band does not let up from note 1!

just listened to 1st 9 tunes in this AUD. Immaculate! I d/l all the SHNs. Already had the SBD. The simplicity of this one makes it that much more stunning and beautiful. Nothing has been touched. No high-end EQ has been added during the transfer and mastering. I checked with my Sennheiser headphones. What makes a great AUD, imho?

a) Outdoors open-air acoustical sound-model environment
b) stellar FOB location
c) Sound Crew nailing an excellent PA system
d) the Boys nailing the setlist in full stride - on a good night
e) good crowd
f) good venue
g) getting lucky as hell
h) tapes lasting for years
i) good transfer
j) good remastering

If I could go back and re-tape my AUDs of GD at RFK Stadium - June 9 / 10, 1973 -- simple what I'd do this time. It would be the same bulls-eye FOB. Same single-point stereo mic. This time I'd have a Taping Partner. He/she could isolate another mic taped on a separate channel -- walk a bit toward where the Drums are slightly louder outta the wall of sound. Then mix the mics carefully.
